Private day trip to Island of Brač
Island of Brač

Island of Brač highlights

Escape the crowds in the city and discover the incredible culture and natural beauty of island Brač. Just an hour away by ferry from Split, this largest Dalmatian island offers a glimpse into the Mediterranean lifestyle that has remained virtually unchanged throughout the centuries.

Škrip, the oldest settlement on the island, hosts a unique olive oil museum. Try the best oils and local products and learn how this tree had played a significant role in the lives of people. Next stop is Pučišća, which cherish the most important craft on the island, stonemasonry.

World famous white stone has been quarried on Brač since the ancient Romans, and it is still widely used today. Step inside the only Stonemasonry School in the country and see how stone transforms into the works of art in the hands of skilled craftsmen. Stroll through the beautiful town where man and stone live together before departing for Bol.

Bol is the home to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Zlatni rat beach. A natural phenomenon, it extends like a tongue nearly half a kilometer into the clear blue sea and changes its appearance according to sea currents. Go for a swim, enjoy the sun, grab a cocktail or have a walk around the town, the choice is yours.

Before departing back to Split, you will stop for a beautiful photo opportunity on the highest peak of any Croatian island, Vidova Gora. On a sunny day you can see most of the Dalmatian islands in front of you, and the beautiful southern coast of the island Brač. A perfect way to end your island excursion!
