Split Walk&Wine is the perfect tour to introduce yourself to the beautiful town of Split and the history, culture and gastronomy behind it. By combining a classic walking tour with a wine tasting, you get the best of both worlds!

First, we'll show you the town from a local perspective, take you to see the spots, hear the stories and get the best insider tips. Split holds many wonders, such as the iconic Diocletian's Palace, 1700 year old living organism, that has witnessed everything from the deaths of emperors to the birth of dragons. Touch the gigantic toe of Grgur Ninski for good luck, solve the riddle of the ancient sphinx and experience the hustle and bustle of Mediterranean in a green market.

Afterwards, we are going wine tasting in an ancient venue in the city center. Finish the tour with a laid-back wine tasting paired with a selection of carefully designed tapas style foods that perfectly accompany every sip. And remember, there's nothing wrong with several wines before noon!

Did you know?

First suburbs of Split, outside the historic center, were inhabited by working-class people: farmers, laborers, fishermen, coopers... Most of them worked the fields and vineyards of local nobility and clergy, maintaining only a portion of the crops. Every year, come the wine season, hundreds of „konobas“ or storage rooms in the suburbs, would turn into taverns and open their doors to thirsty locals. That's why we still call an authentic restaurant a „konoba“!
